Leveraging Human Genetic Evidence in Drug Discovery & Development

On 15 September 2026, AquilaGen Co-Founder Dr Marie-Joe Dib will deliver an online seminar exploring how human genetic evidence can inform decision-making across drug discovery and development.

The seminar will explore how human genetics and causal inference approaches can be integrated into drug discovery and development to identify, prioritize and validate therapeutic targets earlier and with greater confidence. It will also consider where genetic evidence is most informative, where important limitations remain, and how complementary evidence can strengthen therapeutic hypotheses.

The session will be hosted by Dr Devendra Meena, Assistant Professor at the Cardiovascular Genomics Group, Human Genetics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
